Hi, I'm Laura Turner: founder of PAWnte Vedra Pets and former teacher who is proud that she failed... foster failed! I'm a proud dog mom to Phil, my brindle pit mix and daily dose of comic relief: the dog park chaos gremlin! I'm a certified dog bather, a longtime professional pet sitter, and yes, still a Spanish professor by day. Life's an adventure; fetch!

I've been professionally taking care of pets since 2013, starting with an independent company in Rhode Island before launching my pet care business here in Florida in 2017. I'm pet CPR certified, fully insured, and I take the safety and comfort of every animal in my care as seriously as I would my own.

Most recently, I spent three months working inside a big-box grooming salon, completing hands-on training and earning my bather certificate through the Paragon School of Pet Grooming. I've bathed hundreds of dogs - from anxious seniors to wiggling puppies - and I've learned that no two dogs are ever alike! That's part of what makes this work so meaningful to me.

At PAWnte Vedra Pets, I offer creative, boutique-style services that treat dogs like the family members they are: whether that means pampering them for a wedding day, giving them a spa-cation while you're away, or just helping them feel calm, clean and seen.
